Weekly Update: Election-week, 2006

Dear Den 7 Community:

Pack leader meeting:
--For those who are so inclined, the pack leader meeting will take place on Monday, November 6, at 7:00 PM, at the Stubbs' house.

For the upcoming den meeting:
--We will meet at the King's house, 1401 S. 7th, at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, November 7. The school is not available, due to elections.
--Mrs. Kampen is the helper this week, and also agreed to supply treats--my thanks.
--The theme this month is Knights and Chivalry, so we will explore that theme in a number of ways.
--The Bear Den is also in charge of the opening, so we will practice it during the next few weeks as well.

Long range
--I know that several families are travelling during the week prior to Thanksgiving, but if you're around, please note the Den's trip to Tekakwitha Woods, on Tuesday, November 21.

Longer range:
--Friday, December 29, 2006--we will have a den day at Camp Big Timber, and take part in Operation Cubsicle. The cost, as last year, is $15 per cub scout and $7 for adult chaperones.
