Den Meeting Recap, January 18

Dear Webelos Den Parents:

Just to recap what we accomplished at the meeting today:
--the boys discussed what they wanted to do in scouting, and a consensus has grown that the boys (at least the five attending the meeting today) wish to join Troop 13.
--I will arrange for a meeting with the scoutmaster of Troop 13, Mr. Broadhead. I assume that we will visit them on a Monday evening and make his official acquaintance. This will serve the process of making a smooth transition into boy scouting and meet the final requirement for the Arrow of Light Award.

At this point, three boys (Micky, Zachary, and Marshall) have committed to attending the Winterall event in early February. If your son wishes to attend, I am happy to process the application. I simply need a check for $7 (payable to Three Fires Council) and he needs to bring a can of soup to the Winterall to contribute to a pot of deliciousness.

Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 27 for the pack meeting and pinewood derby.
