Pack Planning Meeting Minutes

Parents and Pack Leaders:

Minutes from this evening's pack committee meeting have been posted.

Of particular interest:

• Electric Parade participation and organization
• Popcorn sale information--popcorn chairs, we need to confirm pickup and distribution dates for popcorn.

I will see members of the Webelos Den tomorrow....and the rest of the Pack next Tuesday for our pack meeting.

Leader Meeting Updates + Den Leader Notes

Dear Pack Leaders:

Looking ahead to next week (Monday, 10 November).....there are a few program-related things I would like to talk about:
--electric parade (status)
--operation cubsicle (participation)
--pack meeting games and such (i.e., recruiting a group of three "game czars")

Long range:
--pinewood derby in January
--Blue and Gold Banquet in February

I imagine that we need to discuss popcorn distribution...and what makes the most sense

I've had a few questions come my way regarding the following
--parade status
--previous mention of "Toys for Tots"--what's up?

Jay was interested in the pack organizing a drive for Lazarus House to collect needed items.

Michele was interested in meeting at Chili's so that we can have nachos/salsa...here's the one on the west side of town; I think it is closer/faster to get to than the one on the east side of St. Charles.

Den Leaders:

It seems to be turning into scouting afternoon here, email-wise.

Jane wanted me ask you to submit your badge orders one week before the next pack meeting, which would make it on 11/11 for the pack meeting on 11/18.

She also requested that you order the segments, if you require them, by specific name/number, so that she can get you what you need. If you do not have a sheet with the segments on them, let me know and I will pick one up at the scout shop and have it at the leader meeting on Monday.

If you have any boys receiving a rank advancement (bobcat seems possible at this point), please let me know so that I can recognize them at the pack meeting.

Dear Webelos Parents

Minutes from the the recent pack leader meeting are posted here.

Please note the responses to the upcoming events--still below from yesterday (I've heard from two families, and will respond to Troop 46's leadership tomorrow).

Thanks to Jane for organizing--and to all of you for contributing to--the meal for Lazarus House. It made for an excellent den meeting.

We will be working on the Artist Activity Badge this month, and close with a trip to the Art Institute of Chicago in November.
