Den 7 Meeting Update for March 6
Dear Den 7 Community:
We will begin our investigation and exploration of weather this month.
Mr. Harshbarger has kindly assembled some pre-fab weather collection tools....we will put them together during the next couple of den meetings. Please send your son to the meeting with a hammer, so that he can assemble the weather equipment.
I will also bring some weather tracking sheets to the den meeting, so that the cub scouts can track the weather for two weeks. As part of this, the boys will earn their weather belt loop, for those who keep track of such things.
This week:
Meeting help: Kampen Family
Treats: Siarny Family
Looking ahead to the end of the month, spring break for D303 is the last week of March. I'd like to organize another field day during that week as we did last year. I will be checking through the council office to see if we can use camp big timber again, in exchange for a service project as we did last year. I'll keep everyone posted.
I look forward to seeing many of you at Sci-Tech today.
Best regards,
Ken
