Special Opportunity
On the 23rd of January, we will resume our month's theme of "Poles Apart" with a special guest. Betty Trummel is a friend of mine, who, as a grade 4 teacher, took part in a scientific research project in Antartica. While she was working on the academic research, she also spent time developing activities for elementary children to learn about that part of the work. She returned to the US three days ago, and being a generous soul, will share some of her stories and activites with the Cub Scouts in Den 7. At one of her sons earned the Eagle Scout award, so she knows about Cub Scouting and as an elementary teacher, she is very gifted.

Your entire family is welcome to stay for her presentation.
