Den 7 Weekly Update
Dear Den 7 Community:
Notes for this week:
Looking ahead:
Thanks for Ann's help in organizing the parade yesterday...I arrived back in St. Charles yesterday after my class, around 3:15 PM, and judging from the traffic, it looks like participation in the parade was good. :-)
Best regards,
Ken
Notes for this week:
- We will continue working with the weather theme this week. We will construct a combination rain guage and wind vane. Please encourage your sons to continue collecting weather information with their equipment.
- Treats: Wahab Familty
- Help: Rudnicki Family
Looking ahead:
- Pack meeting on 20 March—the bear den will set up and take down the chairs.
- 27 March den meeting is during the D303 spring break. I have scheduled a tour for the den at Blue Goose grocery during the morning as the beginning for the “Cub Café” theme. I know it is during the week, but with notice, hopefully most boys can make it.
- 3 April den meeting: we will continue the theme of Cub Café by making meals for Lazarus house.
- 7 April (Saturday)—I’ve reserved time and space at the Community Climbing wall in Elgin. The cost per scout is about $14 each. Please mark this down—if your son hasn’t had a chance to try rock climbing before, it is a lot of fun. I’ll have more information shortly so that you can get this onto your schedules.
