Den Updates, Week of September 2
Dear Webelos Parents--
Happy holiday weekend.
Looking ahead to cub scouts this week, we will meet at the King's house (address below) at 6:30 on Tuesday night.
We will continue our work on the scientist activity badge. If you would please also make a decision regarding your--and your son's--participation in the district webelos campout on September 28-29, please let me know. I would like to reserve our place at the camp out. It would be desirable for each boy to have one parent in attendance, especially if he has never been camping before. If you have work obligations, we can work to share responsibility for the boys among the parents who will be attending.
The information is on the sheet your sons took home with them last week.
The pack meeting this month will take place on 25 September, and will be combined with a new parent orientation meeting. Boy scouts from one of the local troops have been contacted, and are expected to host the boys in games for 20 minutes or so while the parents have a chance to learn about scouting.
I will have a schedule for meeting help/treats with me at the next meeting.....thanks to Ann for volunteering to get us started with the treats.
Best regards,
Ken
