Den 7 Update
Dear Den 7 Community:
One more opportunity has come up for April adventures....
Who: Cub Scouts in Den 7
What: Field Trip to Nick’s Pizza—tour of kitchen and make your own pizza
Where: Nick’s Pizza, 990 S Randall Rd., Elgin, IL 60123
When: Tuesday, April 17, 4:00 PM. We will gather at Davis School and depart from there at 3:30 PM. I would anticipate that we would be home by 6:00 PM
Why: Theme for the month is “Cub Café,” and this will allow scouts to see how a real restaurant operates.
How: I’ll be able to provide transportation for six…if another parent with a flexible schedule can provide transportation for four more boys, we will be all set.
In addition to the tour, the boys will make their own one-toping pizza and get to take home a bag of peanuts.
Since this is a Cub Scout event, please encourage your son to wear his Cub Scout uniform to school that day, so that we will look like a den when we arrive at Nick’s.
How much: $4.50 per boy (half the usual price and tax-free)
Thanks: to Joy for learning about this and investigating for us.
Best regards,
Ken
