Happiness Comes from Happifying"

Dear Pack Parents:

The quote above is one the founder of Scouting, Baden-Powell, was often fond of using. The point he was trying to make is that happiness comes in large part from making other people happy, and that we often accomplish this by rendering service to others.

During our leader/parent meeting last night, we discussed ways that the pack can connect with the school and the community. Some ideas that came up included posting the flag at the school, leading flag ceremonies for school sing events, making meals for the needy, collecting toys for the impoverished, and so on.

So....we're asking you to contribute some ideas to our discussion. Please use the link below for responses to add a few thoughts as to what you believe the pack might do to help support the world beyond our den meetings and pack meetings.

Thanks for helping to bring the service ethic of scouting to life for our sons.

Best always,

Ken
